Group Power BI Developer

The Position:
Being a member of the Data Analysis Department of the Group’s IT Function, reporting to the Group DWH & BI Supervisor, you will be responsible and accountable for:
§ Recognizing business requirements in the context of BI and creating data models to transform raw data into relevant insights,
§ Using Power BI, creating dashboards and interactive visual reports,
§ Analyzing data and displaying it in reports to aid decision-making,
§ Converting business needs into technical specifications and establishing a timetable for job completion,
§ Creating, testing, and deploying Power BI scripts, as well as executing efficient deep analysis,
§ Creating charts and data documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships,
§ Participating to the construction of a data warehouse,
§ Analyzing current ETL procedures to define and create new systems.
Qualifications & Competencies required:
§ Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Information Technology (or related fields will be considered as an asset)
§ Experience in BI tools and systems such as Power BI
§ Prior experience in data-related tasks
§ Knowledge on MS SQL Server tools and technologies, such as SSRS and TSQL, Power Query and PowerBI
§ Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics
§ Strong Customer Focus
§ Team player
§ Good planning, organizational and follow up skills
§ Good communication and interpersonal skills
§ Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
§ Good command of the English language
Qualifications considered as an asset:
§ Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Dynamics BC ERPs
§ Experience on Financial MIS Platforms
