Controlling & Reporting Manager

Trade Status and Fourlis Group, one of the leading Groups of companies in Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania in providing quality consumer goods, are currently looking to recruit:

Controlling & Reporting Manager

(ref.: TS_CRM 09.2024)

The Position:

Being a part of the Finance department of Trade Status, reporting to the General Manager of Trade Status, you will be responsible and accountable for:

 

·         Providing financial reports and analysing/presenting financial information to management.

·         Analysing costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to budget

·         Contract management

·         Supervising the accounting team and ensuring the implementation of effective internal controls related to the finance function

·         Providing financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the company

·         Preparing the company’s budget and monitoring its performance

·         Liaising with auditors for the statutory reporting

·         Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends

·         Analysing change and advising accordingly & formulating strategic and long-term business plans

·         Staying up-to-date on changes to financial regulations and laws, safeguarding compliance policies and procedures, and monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, mainly related to finance tax

·         Controlling revenues, cash flow and expenditure

·         Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments

·         Evaluating the financial performance of the company and measure returns on investments.

·         Maintaining relationship with the banks

 

Qualifications & Competencies required:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Finance, preferably a Post Graduate Degree MS or MBA
·         Up to 7 years of working experience, preferably in the retail sector
·         At least 10 years in a finance managerial position
·         Knowledge of Ms Office (Excel, Word)
·         Social Media Literate
·         Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and verbal
·         Strong customer focus
·         Good planning, organizing and priority setting skills
·         Analytical thinking, problem solving & critical thinking skills
·         Drive for results
·         Business Acumen
·      Self-Development
·      Excellent report-writing and good communication and interpersonal skills
·      Teamwork
·      Development of direct reports & others

 

Qualifications considered as an asset:

·         Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other financial planning software
