IT Systems Administrator

IT Systems Administrator

The Position:

Reporting to the IT Systems Administration Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for:

• Administering, monitoring, supporting, and maintaining the Group systems infrastructure to ensure the undisrupted operation of the Group IT systems (Stores, E-commerce) and the best Customer Service.
• Implementing all necessary IT routines and procedures
• Participating in IT related projects and new stores establishments

Qualifications & Competencies required:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Information Technology or related field will be considered as an asset)
• Up to 5 years of experience in similar job position.
• Good knowledge on any of the below sections:
  • Installing and administering Microsoft’s OS server, Server applications
  • Authentication and Identity infrastructure (both on premise and on-cloud) administration
  • Mail infrastructure (both on premise and on-cloud) administration
  • System Center infrastructure suite administration
  • Familiarity with HPE server/storage systems
  • MS Hyper-V infrastructure Administration
  • Office 365 and Azure infrastructure suite administration
  • Administrative scripting language (powershell, vbs, etc)
  • SQL RDBMS infrastructure Administration and SQL scripting language
• Experience in documenting procedures and manuals fixing for users
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL RDBMS scripting language
• Good command of the English language
• Good understanding of networks (LAN, WAN)
• Co-ordinate and manage projects and deliveries to internal clients
• Co-ordinate external partners and vendors
• Good communication and interpersonal skills 
•  Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines 
• Achievement drive, initiative taking and problem solving skills
• Strong Customer Focus
• Good planning, organizational and follow up skills
• Willing to learn and embrace new technologies
• Team player

Qualifications considered as an asset:

Any training or certification in any of the below sections:

• Certifications on Microsoft Systems Center suite administration
• Certifications on Microsoft Azure Cloud Services administration
• Knowledge on Microsoft O365 administration
• Knowledge on Microsoft windows servers
• Experience in Retail Business Processes and Systems
