Fourlis Foot Locker South East Europe (SEE) is licensed & operated by Fourlis Sports Division, which also operates leading Sport Performance retail banner Intersport in 4 countries and is a member of Fourlis Group of companies. Boasting a successful history of almost 75 years, Fourlis Group is a dynamic force in the retail sector in SEE, with leading omnichannel retail companies, including IKEA, INTERSPORT and Holland & Barrett, and more than 4.000 passionate and skillful employees.

Foot Locker opened its first store in California, back in 1974 and since then it has internationally expanded with more than 2.500 stores and $8B net sales, leading global sneaker culture. Fourlis Foot Locker SEE is now expanding in 8 countries, namely Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Cyprus, with a short-term target of 100 stores and 8 e-shops. In addition, Fourlis Foot Locker SEE will substantially invest in incubating sneaker communities, creating deep consumer connections, with a sustainable and planet-friendly ethos.

Fourlis Foot Locker SEE marketing team is at a startup phase, building now a team with capabilities and skills to be uniquely positioned to bring cross-functional departments together to develop and execute world-class marketing campaigns. We are looking for an individual with a solid understanding of brand go-to-market strategy and a people-first leadership style who can thrive in a dynamic start-up retail environment.

You will spend their time balanced between setting brand vision and driving the go-to-market planning strategy while championing cross functional alignment: overseeing brand messaging, product marketing and omni campaign creation, from brief to creation to execution. In this role you will develop and oversee the regional go-to-market strategy and calendar – including the annual and seasonal promotions and programs, partnering with Foot Locker Inc. & Brand Partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive brand go-to-market calendar, planning and messaging strategy alongside marketing channels, leveraging consumer insights and data.
  • Build and manage partner brand relationships & annual partner plans, be a go-to leader who can create clear and actionable solutions and drive confidence. Ensure the plan and meets consumer engagement goals and sales targets.
  • Work with agencies in the creative development process and execution of all advertising campaigns across all 8 countries, including social, digital, OOH, CRM, mobile, events and more.
  • Deliver campaigns and brand experiences that activate our brand platform, The Heart of Sneakers, and drive relevance and demand, with a contemporary tone of voice.
  • Create and execute Social Media content creation strategy, fueling consumer engagement, adhering to Foot Locker brand standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with Retail Operations, Ecommerce, Product and Merchant teams to develop and maximize growth opportunities with brand partners
  • Use data to develop Foot Locker insight-led ideas, collaborations and activations to populate plans and drive demand.
  • Set campaign goals, KPIs & ROI and analyze and package program results and key takeaways, executing x-channel reporting routines.
  • Develop Influencer network across SEE region.
  • Setup & lead a centralized regional team of marketers based in Athens, complemented by limited local in-country tactical resources.
  • Manage brand awareness budgets ensuring KPIs
  • Leverage FLX platform Foot Locker’s loyalty program & localize offering to drive acquisition, repeat purchase and incremental lifetime value of consumers. Partner with ecommerce team, to align on commercial execution proposition.
  • Support new country openings, and new store opening plan.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, brand management, preferably in a matrix retail environment
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for sneakers and youth culture.
  • Successful track record leading and growing a marketing team
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Extremely resourceful and proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions with strong ability to comfortably handle multiple high-profile situations simultaneously.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Fluent English language knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to set and exceed aggressive goals, thrive in a fast moving yet collaborative environment.
  • Strong budget management skills
